Hi, I'm Matthew.

My path here wasn't a straight line, and that's the point. I started with a degree in radio and television broadcasting, wanting to communicate with people and make content worth paying attention to. When the broadcast jobs didn't come, I moved to Texas and got my break at FlightSafety International — where I first opened Photoshop to paint the numbers off of airplanes.

From there I found what I was truly good at: teaching. At Bombardier I built interactive lessons that taught pilots how to fly, and GE Capital hired me to rebuild the coursework for both companies. Taking something complex and making it learnable became my craft.

In 1998 I started my own business, taught myself the web, and taught others too — my first class was for the Duncanville Chamber of Commerce that same year. For nearly three decades since, the work has never really been “building websites.” It's been connecting people to their audiences.

Along the way I discovered my own gifts. I'm a psychic and a medium, and in 2025 I earned a Doctorate of Metaphysical Studies and Coaching. I became known as a teacher and an ethical reader — and I saw a need: gifted people who wanted to make an honest living from their gifts. So I started building for them.

Today, Connections Design Studios brings all of it together — web, print, and AI — for small businesses and the metaphysical community. I'm one of you, and I know how to build what you need.
